Mary-Jane established her holistic health practice in 2006, and trained in EFT eight years later to complement her existing palette of therapies. She became an EFT trainer in 2016 and has since trained hundreds of new practitioners and conducted over 4,000 client sessions.

Her trainees invariably comment on her warmth and humour, as well as her willingness to support practitioners for as long as they wish.

On a never-ending quest to improve what she offers, Mary-Jane has studied a variety of training techniques, and makes every effort to provide a course which works for differing types of learner, by engaging her group in discussion, mini-practice sessions and demos. Course Structure

You will be one of a small group of trainees (maximum 8) for the duration of the training, and will discover a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn and be supported. As well as access to your trainer, you will be assigned a mentor, with whom you will meet at least every 2 weeks, and who will provide guidance and care during the training process.

From the very beginning, you will learn to integrate what you have learned through practice, initially on yourself, and later with training colleagues and ultimately with case study clients.

Assessment

Your progress will be assessed from a combination of:

• Observation during training
• Weekly quiz questions
• Assignments, all of which will be practical and relevant for your EFT business
• Case studies (you will need to complete three sessions with four different people – a total of twelve sessions)
• Feedback from your mentor

Don’t panic! Our aim is to produce competent and confident EFT practitioners, and if you require additional support in one area, this will be provided. The purpose of on-going assessment is to ensure that no one strays far off track before being given a helping hand in the right direction.

Time Commitment

You will need approximately 8 to 10 hours a week to devote to your EFT studies, a total of at least 100 hours over the duration of the course. Half of these hours will be your live weekly training, and the others a mix of self-tapping, assignments, mentoring, weekly swap sessions with colleagues and completion of your training journal.

Financial Investment

This is a new offering in the world of EFT training perfect for those who are serious about becoming practitioners.. The course fee is £2250, which includes everything, including mentoring, case study assessment, accredited certification and comprehensive handouts. You can save £500 with early registration (by 31st January 2026 for March 2026 training; 31st July 2026 for September 2026 training)

Certification

When you graduate after the duration of the training, you will receive an Advanced Practitioner Certificate which gives you the ability to obtain insurance and practice Emotional Freedom Technique to a high level.  If you are an existing holistic practitioner or therapist in another discipline, you can usually add EFT to your insurance at no extra cost.

This training has met the requirements to become Accredited with the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (www.iphm.co.uk), which is an organisation that you can join after graduation if you choose.

Ongoing Learning

You are strongly encouraged to attend regular supervision (offered monthly) and continuous professional development events, to refresh your skills. We know that learning is a never-ending process and never more so than in the world of EFT. It is also a wonderful way to build relationships within the community of EFT practitioners.
