Room rates per night including breakfast are as follows with single/double occupancy:
- Standard double (most have balcony and view over a quiet residential street) 84€/89€
- Sea view double (with balcony) 94€/99€ – this option is recommended
- Superior sea view (refurbished room with new bathroom) 120€/125€

- Use the reference EFT Event
- First name and surname of each guest (if more than one)
- Check in and check out date (8th to 13th or 14th November 2026 or longer if preferred)
- Room category preferred (standard, sea view or superior sea view)
- Preference for double bed or two individual beds (twin bed can not be guaranteed but they will do their best)
- They will contact you for your credit card number with expiration date as a guarantee for the reservation
- The hotel will ask you for final payment 7 weeks before the event
- When you check-in, you will be asked to pay local tax of 1.32€ per person per night. This is standard in Spanish hotels.
NOTE: We will finish at around 5pm on Friday 13th, so you may want to stay an extra night unless you have an evening flight.
Travel Options
The nearest airports are:
- Barcelona, from where you can reach the hotel by bus directly from the airport in around 2 hours or taxi in 90 minutes. Multiple airlines fly to Barcelona
- Girona, which is 30 minutes from the hotel by taxi. Ryanair has flights from many regional airports to Girona
- Do NOT book flights to Barcelona REUS as that is in the wrong direction!
If you plan to hire a car, there is parking in the vicinity of the hotel.
Driving time from Calais (Eurotunnel or ferry) is a little over 12 hours, and will incur tolls through France.
Trains are available from London to Girona and take around 9 hours.
When you book your place, I will invite you to a private Facebook group where you can meet other attendees, and arrange to share airport transfers etc.
Extending your stay
This part of Spain is absolutely beautiful and you may want to extend your stay to explore the Costa Brava and the historic city of Girona. Or perhaps spend a few days in everybody’s favourite city – Barcelona! The hotel has agreed to maintain the discounted room rate if you do extend your stay either side of the event.
If you have a partner, friend or family member who would like to join you, you are most welcome to bring them. Let me know if they would like to join the welcome dinner (35€) and I will let the restaurant know.
What is the Cost?
This event has been priced purely to cover costs, not to make a profit. The more people that come, the less it will cost! There is an option to make a top-up donation at any time if you wish as a contribution to the time and energy involved in organising and hosting the event.
Your payment for the event covers
- all your training for 5 days
- welcome dinner with wine on Sunday 8th November
- 3 course lunch and refreshments daily
The delegate rate will vary depending on the number of people:
10 people = £580 pp
15 people = £480 pp
20 people = £430 pp
A £200 deposit will secure your place, with the balance due by 31st July 2026. When bookings are in, I will be able to confirm how much the balance will be (anything from £230 to £380)
